Blue State Asks Residents to Use Their Homes for This

When you declare that you’re a ‘sanctuary state’, don’t you think you should prepare to be one? If you cannot offer what you promise, you are merely virtue signaling, stirring your progressive base with fatuous feel-good puffery.

When the rubber meets the road, it’s a different story. Look how whiny Eric Adams has become, pleading with the White House to make then stop southern governors from sending border crossers north. And now, in Massachusetts, the governor is begging residents to take a “refugee” into their homes.

Massachusetts Lt. Gov. Kim Driscoll asked state residents Wednesday to open their doors and assist housing migrants after the Democratic governor, Maura Healey, declared a state of emergency Tuesday as the state is faced with a vast shortage of shelters.

“Most importantly, if you have an extra room or suite in your home, please consider hosting a family. Housing and shelter is our most pressing need and become a sponsor family,” Driscoll said.

And it’s no better in New York where the Democrats are moving migrants into red areas so as not to inflame their base. They know they are never going to win in blue counties – so why not send their problems there? (Read this interview here.)

And for people who want to help? It all sounds grand until instead of a mom and baby you get a single man from a very different culture, or a criminal who has only headed north for new opportunities.
